Volunteering Opportunities:

The Town has a variety of opportunities if you are interested in serving your town. 
 
There are vacancies on several boards and committees for 2024-2025

3 seats- Conservation Commission

1 seat- Development Review Board alternate

1- Senior Solutions Advisory Council Representative

2 seats - Wilson Wetland Stewardship Committee

1 - Windham Solid Waste Management District Representative

1 seat- Windham Regional Commissioners

1 seat- CT River Joint Commission Wantastiquest Subcommittee

1 seat- DV FIber

3 seats- Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee

Community Service Hours:

All Vermont High School students must complete 40 hours of community service in order to graduate. 
The Town of Putney has a variety of community service opportunities available to help teens meet these requirements. 
Opportunities include clerical/office, historical, recycling, yard maintenance, and others. 
Please be advised that Putney Residents will be given priority.
